Happy Holiday to all L.A students! Hopefully all of you enjoy being at home before we start our new semester next month. We have a few proposal for our next semester's shirt which we can proudly put this on during our field trip and activities. Above is one of the design we have come out so far and we hope you like it. This design was inspired from one of the oversea landscape architecture bodies or department. We made some adjustment to suit our own L.A Department and style. Please comment! Thanks~

Trip to Lumut & Pangkor Island, Perak

On Feb 11, 2012, Faculty of Architecture and Environmental Design, Geomatika had a trip to Lumut and Pangkor Islands. This trip involve students from Diploma of Architecture and Diploma of Landscape Architecture of all levels in relation to MQA ( Malaysian Qualification Agency) requirement for the faculty to organized a field trip for their diploma program.

The 3 days 2 nights trip also offer vast new experience to students( hopefully they enjoy it) especially for those who never being to Pangkor. We were stayed at Pangkor Village Resort which located at seaside. Some of informal activities done during that undeniably good period are Sand castle, BBQ (variety of seafoods), Canoeing, Snorkeling and Swimming. Unluckily we cannot view the sunset during that period (I wonder why Mr/Mrs Sunset was not there.Hmm..).

However, as genuine purpose of this trip is for educational, the students had a good time under bright hot sun light doing Inventory Analysis for their final design project. Then, on a way back, we visited Universiti Teknology Petronas( UTP) to have a look on both buildings and landscape design around the campus. We want to thank you for your fine hospitality and refreshment provided.

Hopefully, this kind of trip will continue running every Semester. Thanks for all the hardwork:Lecturers and good students.

We provide you some of pictures of their activities. Enjoy.
